Moving: One More Day

I’m ready. There were moments I felt I would never get to this point, but I’m ready.

My mom and I walked all over Osaka, Kyoto and Nara during the week she was here. Being able to tour right during cherry blossom season was perfect timing.

A little tired from the day…and from the knowledge that I would have to move out of my apartment in the next 2 days.

I didn’t get pictures of all the people who came and helped me, but I am truly thankful.  The translation help. The garbage removal help. And the encouragement of having other people there as I made decisions. I could not have done this alone.

I made it out of my apartment and now am waiting out my time until I get on the plane. We threw in an extra dinner. Korean Barbeque was the perfect choice.

My time in Japan is almost done. I will miss people and places and foods here, but I am ready. I am ready for whatever comes next.
